November 18th & 19th at 6:30p

This holiday season, OB One Church is partnering with Operation Christmas Child, an organization that distributes gift-filled shoeboxes to over 6 million underprivileged around the world.  These shoeboxes are packed with fun toys, school supplies, stuffed animals, hygiene products — pretty much anything you think a child would like!  For many of these children, this is the only gift they have ever received.  But OCC doesn’t stop with just really awesome Christmas presents.  Each shoebox also contains the Gospel message written in the local language of the child.  Plus, each kid is able to participate in a 12-lesson discipleship program where they will be introduced to Jesus and encouraged to grow in their relationship with Him.

So how can you get involved?

OB One Church is hosting a Packaging Party on November 18 and 19 at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall.  Bring your hand-picked gifts to the church on one of those days, and together we will pack all of our gifts into shoeboxes provided by OB One and celebrate the coming holiday season with festive goodies and music.  Don’t forget to invite your neighbors, your OneLife, your co-workers — even your mail lady into the fun of OCC.  With each shoebox, a needy kids’s life is changed, and who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?!
