Spiritual Gifts Description

  1. Administration — The ability to organize, plan, and lead systems so the church runs with excellence.

  5. Discernment — The ability to distinguish between what is true and false, and what is from God or not.
  6. Encouragement — The gift of coming alongside people with words and presence that restore hope and strength.
  7. Evangelism — A burning passion and ability to clearly share the gospel in ways that lead people to faith.
  8. Faith — An extraordinary trust in God that believes Him for the impossible even when others can’t see it.
  9. Giving — A joyful compulsion to give generously and strategically to advance God’s kingdom.
  10. Helps / Service — The gift of seeing a need and quietly meeting it without needing recognition.

Personality Types 

L = LIONS

Lions are very confident and self-reliant. In a group setting, if no one else instantly takes charge, the Lion will. Unfortunately, if they don’t learn how to tone down their aggressiveness, their naturally dominating traits can cause problems with others. Most entrepreneurs are strong lions, or at least have a lot of lion in them.

Outgoing and social, they network widely and are often encouraging and affectionate—unless stressed, when their words can sting. They crave attention, enjoy being liked, and care about style and flair. Otters are the life of any party, and most people enjoy their company.

One word describes these people: LOYAL. They’re so loyal, in fact, that they can absorb the most emotional pain and punishment in a relationship and still stay committed. They are great listeners, incredibly empathetic and warm encouragers. However, they tend to be such pleasers that they can have great difficulty being assertive in a situation or relationship when it’s needed.

Because they value rules, consistency, and high standards, they can become frustrated with those who don’t. Their drive for excellence (sometimes unrealistic) can also make it harder for them to show warmth in relationships.
